Getting to know Dr. Charles Bogdahn

I have been in practice as a clinical psychologist and licensed clinical social worker for thirty-eight years. I am from Hawaii and spent my years involved in a practice that worked to advocate for and develop community programs for our families. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Hawai?i. I excel, I suppose, in assessment and crisis management, where I enjoy developing a clear, focused strategy with my clients to create the best possible treatment and care options. Substance problems and addiction impacts on development, autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders, and caretaking burnout are areas in which I have enjoyed supporting services. I appreciate your desire for respect, understanding, and solutions from those of us who work in behavioral health. As a clinician with a unique experience and history, I believe it is my duty to bring attention and care to your needs and desires. I work in a model that requires human attention and care along with my deep experience. I am a very fortunate provider indeed.
