*After booking, you will receive a link via IntakeQ so you can complete required intake forms prior to your appointment* I’m a licensed master social worker (LMSW) with a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. My approach to therapy is rooted in trauma-informed, client-centered care. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and somatic therapy, and motivational interviewing to help patients manage emotions, understand behavior patterns, and build coping strategies that support long-term well-being. CBT focuses on identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns; mindfulness and somatic approaches help patients reconnect with their body’s cues and responses; motivational interviewing supports behavior change by exploring internal motivations and resolving ambivalence. I also draw from my background in therapeutic yoga and wellness coaching, which enhances my attention to the mind-body connection in stress management and self-esteem work. My experience spans community mental health settings, where I supported adolescents, young adults, and adults of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship challenges. One of my most meaningful experiences was teaching therapeutic yoga to individuals with Autism and Down syndrome. That work taught me to meet people with patience, flexibility, and creativity—values I carry with me into every session. I’m especially passionate about supporting young adults, college students, and individuals working through relationship issues, emotional regulation, and life transitions. The provider is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern. The provider is a “Licensed Social Worker" and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Rivia Mind.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about what’s hardest to say out loud. My role is to listen with care and curiosity, help you make sense of your experiences, and support you in making choices aligned with your values. Whether you’re navigating relationship conflict, building boundaries, managing anxiety, or exploring your identity, I offer both insight and practical tools to help you move forward. My work is collaborative and flexible. I’ll tailor sessions to your needs, helping you develop self-awareness, strengthen emotional insight, and create change at a pace that feels right for you. If you’re new to therapy, it’s okay to feel unsure. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start. My focus is on creating a space where you feel heard and supported—where growth can begin. Outside of therapy, I stay grounded by spending time outdoors. Morning stretches or evening walks are a regular part of my routine and remind me that self-care doesn’t have to be complicated—it just has to be consistent.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship. I prioritize trust, openness, and compassion so you feel safe exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In early sessions, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and identify the areas you’d like to focus on. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your goals and provide insight into patterns that may be shaping your current challenges. From there, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan. I use evidence-based methods such as CBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing. Sessions often include reflection, emotional processing, and skill-building. For example, we might practice grounding exercises to manage stress or explore communication strategies to improve your relationships. When helpful, I bring in somatic and mind-body techniques to deepen awareness and support regulation. You don’t need to prepare anything specific for a session—just come as you are. Therapy is a space to show up honestly, explore what’s present, and take steps toward meaningful change. We’ll move at your pace, and I’ll be here to support you through the ups and downs of your journey with empathy, insight, and practical tools.
