Getting to know Cheryl Reitz

Cheryl Reitz is a Licensed Professional Counselor, license number 37PC00246800. Whether you are facing significant loss, life transitions, relational conflicts, or daily stressors, we all need support during difficult times. Sometimes, a trained professional can help navigate these challenges and facilitate positive change. We aren’t always able to recognize the underlying causes of our discomfort or find ways to overcome life’s obstacles. In a therapeutic setting, we will work together to discover healthier ways for you to cope with life’s struggles, make desired changes, improve relationships, and find inner healing. Seeking therapy is an investment in yourself. Improving mental and emotional health is as important as maintaining physical health. My role is to provide a safe space and come alongside you on your journey. I work with adolescents and adults, offering individual, couples, and family counseling services. I treat depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma (PTSD), relationship issues, parenting challenges, behavioral concerns, and many other problems that affect how we feel and function in the world.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our sessions together, you can expect a safe, open, and non-judgmental atmosphere. You will gain a deeper understanding of what you are struggling with and knowledge of how you can make changes that will lead to improvement in your well-being.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
