What should a new client know about working with you?

My ideal client is someone who feels a quiet but persistent sense that something in their life isn’t fully aligned. On the surface, they may appear capable and even successful but internally, they are stressed and overwhelmed or feeling “stuck.” Sometimes they can clearly name what’s wrong; other times, they just know that something doesn’t feel right. What they all share is a willingness—whether strong or tentative to explore their story more deeply. Ultimately, I help my clients move towards a way of living that feels more intentional and whole. I specialize in solution-oriented and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) interventions, helping clients identify and restructure unhelpful thought patterns rooted in trauma, stress, and life transitions. My approach is practical, collaborative, and goal-focused—empowering clients to move from insight to meaningful, sustainable change. Starting therapy can feel uncertain, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. My approach is collaborative, structured, and focused on helping you see real progress—not just talk, but meaningful change. If you’re looking for support that helps you move forward, I welcome you to connect with me.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer therapy in the comfort of your own home via a virtual appointment platform. In doing so, I knock down all barriers to care. I have over thirty years' experience working in the counseling profession. I have worked overseas with the military and am a military spouse myself. I am a Cognitive processing therapist and have seen hundreds of clients through to their full healing potential. I am licensed in OH, GA and HI. As a solution-oriented (CPT) therapist, my treatment plans are structured, and focused on helping clients achieve meaningful and measurable progress. We begin by identifying your goals, specific challenges, past traumas and stressors. From there, we develop a clear plan that focuses on understanding how your thoughts, beliefs, and past experiences are impacting your current well-being. I am primarily a solution-oriented therapist, that has been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I work with my client's existing strengths and abilities, in which we collaboratively find restoration, new tools and healing, while exploring stuck points that exist and how through CPT we can work to assist in literally transforming your thoughts and mind.
