Getting to know Christian Cline

Doing this work is my passion in life. I have a person-centered eclectic style integrating evidence-based modalities such as IFS, CBT and mindfulness-based approaches including DBT and trauma work with my wealth of experience working in the field. I do this while respecting and holding space for each individual’s spiritual experience as part of the path towards healing and wholeness. I possess a strong clinical background and I am skilled at forming trusting therapeutic relationships. I can help guide you to your own inner wisdom while providing the coping and therapeutic skills that each unique client will need. I have worked with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma, schizophrenia, addiction, narcissistic abuse , and interpersonal challenges. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology specializing in Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. Before arriving at SonderMind, I started my journey in this field at a young age. While in college, I volunteered for the rape crisis center and knew I found my calling. Over the past 20 years, I have worked throughout the Boulder area starting at the homeless shelter, detox, then to the mental health center. The past 11 years have been spent in the greater New Orleans area working with culturally diverse at-risk populations specializing in dual-diagnosis, predominantly treating addiction, mood disorders, and trauma. I have also been fortunate enough to do volunteer work abroad in India and Africa. My hope is to bring compassion and any experience I have to honor each client I serve. I am looking forward to meeting you and being on this path of healing along with you.
