Getting to know Christine Evers

I have been a counselor for over 25 years. I was a biblical counselor for 10 years before obtaining my Master's Degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington University, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with the State of Washington. I am a wife and mother of two. I have a heart for those who are hurting and a fierce belief in them, championing them to become all they were created to be. It is one of my greatest joys. I have served students and their families for over 13 years, and they keep me young, engaged, and joyful. I am a former mayor and served as a councilperson for over 15 years. I am an avid gamer-yes, gamer-and I love to sing. Biblical counseling and spiritual counseling are available upon request in your healing journey. I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and utilize Positive Psychology techniques (PPT) (don't let the ?psychology? word scare you). I serve youth, adults, groups, families, and couples.
