Getting to know Christy Fuller
I have worked as a Social Worker in the mental health field since 1990 in various environments. These include mental health clinics, elementary, middle, and high schools, clinic manager, outreach, and the medical field. Because of the different areas I have worked in, I have been able to serve many populations, ages, and social and economic backgrounds. Some of the specialty populations I have worked with include seniors, veterans, kids, and clients presenting with medical issues, as well as dual diagnosis with mental health and substance use issues. I use a variety of approaches and start where the client is. Once the assessment and treatment goals are completed, we will discuss what kind of therapy best fits you and your situation. Some of the therapy techniques I use include cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, social systems, and trauma-informed care. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, loss/grief, medical or substance issues, or going through life changes and are between the ages of 5-95 years old I think we can be a great match. I know the first step can be the scariest, and I will be with you along the way for this journey. I hope to hear from you soon.
