Originally from the Northwest, Crista moved to Colorado, to attend Colorado State University where she earned a Bachelor's of Social Work degree with a minor in gerontology and a Master's of Social Work degree. Crista also has an Associates of Applied Science degree in Holistic Health and has been licensed and certified in Massage Therapy for 16 years. Crista specializes in counseling older adults and thoroughly enjoys providing therapy for diverse adults in all stages of life. She uses her training in EMDR, and other researched based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Mindfulness, for an integrative therapeutic approach for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and other complex issues.
