UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. In this busy life, it can sometimes be difficult to know where to start when you are faced with change, uncertainty, grief, and stress. As a therapist with a Master's in Social Work from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor's from North Carolina State University, it's my goal to provide others space to talk openly about what they are experiencing while being authentic to their inner feelings. Therapy isn't about needing to be "fixed," it's about learning to understand yourself and others better than before. Emotional growth is a process that requires patience and the courage to be curious about how one's life might change. I enjoy providing space for my clients to identify their goals and find ways to be kinder to themselves.
