I have truly loved working with Cynthia and am very excited to continue doing so.
Great section
Cynthia does great work! The work I was able to do with her was truly life-changing for me. Her approach, the way she listened and was able to assist me in my healing journey was truly amazing. I am forever grateful!
Cynthia is a very kind and thoughtful therapist She is extremely perceptive and uses a great deal of academic knowledge to walk you through different avenues of healing. I am extremely grateful to have found her and worked with her through some of my most terrible times.
Cynthia is a fantastic, empathetic and extremely perceptive therapist. I had the pleasure of working with her through some of my most difficult times and she used a great deal of examples, understanding and academic knowledge to walk me through different avenues of healing. Aside from her incredible range of knowledge and life experiences, Cynthia is extremely open minded to learn about different cultural nuances that contribute to specific situations. I am extremely grateful to have had her a guiding voice.
I was referred to Cynthia by a friend and I am very happy I followed up and have been having in sessions with her. She is a truly exceptional couples therapist. With profound insight and a compassionate approach, she has helped us navigate challenges by encouraging us to foster understanding for the other person while building a deeper connection with each other. Cynthia’s commitment to healing relationships is evident but she also focuses on healing the two individuals in the relationship. I believe her advice and recommendations have been invaluable as we are working to transform our relationship.
Cynthia is a compassionate and professional therapist, who I developed an instant rapport with. I'd not be exaggerating to say that working with Cynthia has definitely improved my life in a number of ways. Together we've been able to tackle topics, create insight and coping strategies on both serious personal and professional concerns that I would have been extremely challenging to approach along. Cynthia has a great ability to "meet me where I am", often overanalytical and academic, while also openly showing me where there are other perspectives that we can reflect on. I'd strongly encourage anyone looking for a psychotherapist consider working with Cynthia.
Cynthia is exactly what you want in a therapist: professional, insightful, and rooted in solid research while also warm, caring, and open-minded. She is communicative about all aspects of the experience, from payment and scheduling to expectations and goals. From a practical standpoint, Cynthia offers both in-person and virtual sessions (based on availability), both of which I have experienced and found very useful. As a Black woman, I find it can be difficult to connect with a therapist who understands your background while holding space for your unique experiences. I looked forward to my sessions with Cynthia not only because I knew I would be heard and validated, but also because I knew I would leave with insights and homework exercises to help me put into practice the ideas raised in each session.
Cynthia is such a kind and thoughtful therapist. She truly cares for you and wants to see you improve. I went to her for a little over a year and in that time, my mental health improved quite a lot. The homework she gave was definitely beneficial and worth the extra time. Can't recommend enough!
Cynthia is patient, insightful, and full of energy! She was great to work with as I was new to counseling and had generally struggled to open up with other providers I consulted with. In addition, she brings cultural sensitivity and awareness to her work, which was critical for me as a Black immigrant and a woman. 10/10, highly recommend.
Brilliant, insightful, compassionate ... simply put, Cynthia is G.O.A.T.! I have been in therapy for 3 years and she is the best therapist I had. In the last 3 years, I went through a contested divorce, pandemic destroying my business, and 7 rounds of failed fertility treatments. I first found Cynthia via Alma network where I have requested interviews with several providers. Some have never responded, some have failed to call in when scheduled. Cynthia has contacted me when scheduled and after a brief conversation, I knew she was the right fit. In few months that I have been under Cynthia's care, she has helped me to address my childhood traumas, equipped me with skills to leverage my anxiety for peak performance as well as helped me to navigate through a multitude of complex issues in my professional and personal relationships. With her help I am pursuing my dream to become a mother and a doctor and feel happiest in the last three years. I can't recommend Cynthia enough!
Very attentive and gives good insights and notes for personal reflection and digging deeper into what may stand in my way of being able to move forward.
