Hello! I'm Danica Gurdinak, a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. I work with both children (12+) and adults.
I graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a Master’s in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in co-occurring disorders. Since then, I have been working in the field for five years.
There is an old quote that says, "Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional." This is a saying I have come to live by and one that I hope to teach my clients. Life is unfortunately not always sunshine and rainbows, but it is up to us to give ourselves the skills and tools we need to not suffer through it.
Overall, I hope to gift my clients the support, guidance, and mindset to overcome challenges and find their strengths. In DBT, the objective is to build a life worth living, and that’s the work I do with my clients.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
