Hello, I'm Danica, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Denver, Colorado. With over a decade of experience, I've dedicated my career to supporting individuals through life's transitions, whether it be anxiety, depression, or any other life challenges and obstacles you may face. I believe in a strengths-based approach, but most importantly, I want to work in partnership with you to find the best path toward achieving your goals. You are the expert in your life, and my role is to support and guide you in a way that feels right for you. I place a strong emphasis on being trauma-informed and culturally competent in my practice. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with youth, families, young adults, and homeless youth. My experience has taught me that we all have the capacity to grow and develop tools to improve our lives, no matter the circumstances. I understand that seeking therapy is a significant step, and finding a therapist who is a good fit is crucial. Being vulnerable can be challenging, but my goal is to create a comfortable and safe environment for you to explore how to enhance your life. Life isn't meant to be perfect, but by learning how to navigate and handle its challenges, we can find joy in each day.
