What should a new client know about working with you?

Our relationships are important to us and when they suffer, we suffer, becoming anxious, depressed, or angry, making it hard to be ourselves and have the relationships we want. Whether you know what started the problems, have lived with unfulfilling relationships your whole life, or have no idea, but it is hard to right relationships when they are going wrong. You likely feel stuck in a confusing, painful place, and I can only imagine what it has been like for you. I would love to help you find a way out of that stuck place, whether individually or with a loved one, into better relationships and back to being yourself. I'll get to know you, your story, strengths, and goals to make that change, in a space you feel respected and heard. Together, we will address the root cause of the problem and grow by learning new skills, finding ways to see and interact with yourself and your loved ones, and letting go of the past to live better in the present. Your journey and our work together will be unique but our work together will be one of compassion, curiosity, and humor, calmly facing the problems you bring whether they are new, old, or unknown. We will move at the pace that helps you grow without becoming overwhelmed nor feel stagnant.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Early sessions will involve us getting to know each other, discussing your goals, unpacking your story and the problems you would like to address, and identifying your strengths. From there, we will work together to create a treatment plan to address your needs using your strengths.
