With licenses in addiction counseling and clinical social work, I bring eight years of professional experience, including five years in community mental health. My own lived experience with recovery from depression, PTSD, and poverty deeply informs my practice, allowing me to connect with clients on a meaningful level. I work with teens, adults, and older adults from diverse backgrounds, using a person-centered approach that emphasizes strengths, coping strategies, and recovery. Whether you're dealing with acute symptoms, crisis situations, suicidal ideation, addictions, trauma, or you're a veteran seeking support, I'm here to help. My therapeutic toolkit includes cognitive behavioral therapy, addiction counseling, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and suicide assessment and intervention. I believe the most important part of therapy is creating a human connection. It's essential that you feel comfortable and trust me to help you meet your goals. My aim is to make you feel understood, provide hope that things can change or improve, and facilitate that change through developing coping skills, creating new insights, and enabling you to be independently resilient. I have a private practice office in Englewood, Colorado, where I offer in-person meetings. I typically see clients on Mondays and Tuesdays, with limited availability on Sundays.
