What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often describe me as calm, supportive, and easy to talk to. My approach is practical and down-to-earth—I focus on helping you feel understood while also giving you tools you can actually use outside of sessions. You might be a good fit if you: • feel overwhelmed or easily triggered, • struggle to manage emotions or reactions, • have anxiety that feels hard to control, • are a parent looking for support for your child or teen, • want practical tools—not just someone to talk to

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together typically begins with an initial session where we get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and goals, while also giving you space to share what feels most important. From there, we’ll collaborate on a plan that feels meaningful and manageable for you. Sessions are guided by your needs—some days may focus on processing emotions, while others may be more skill-based, such as developing coping strategies for anxiety, stress, or emotional regulation. For children and teens, I often incorporate developmentally appropriate approaches and may involve caregivers when helpful. For adults, especially women navigating pregnancy or postpartum experiences, sessions often include space for identity exploration, emotional support, and practical tools to manage day-to-day challenges. Since I provide telehealth services, sessions are designed to be convenient and accessible, allowing you to engage in therapy from the comfort of your own space. Throughout the process, my goal is to create a consistent, supportive environment where you feel safe to grow, reflect, and move toward meaningful change.

  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
