Getting to know Danielle Angel

I work primarily with adults, offering a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted as you navigate anxiety, self-image concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I am a limited permit holder and have a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I bring specialized training and extensive experience supporting the LGBTQ+ community, including counseling with the Trevor Project and certification in writing letters of support for gender-affirming procedures. I strive to create a space where all identities are respected and affirmed, and where you can show up as your full self without fear of judgment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our work together, you can expect a thoughtful and compassionate approach that helps you gain insight into your thoughts and behaviors, process past experiences, and develop practical coping strategies that make day-to-day life feel more manageable and balanced. Therapy with me is collaborative and warm, grounded in empathy and free from judgment. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling validated, supported, and more connected to yourself, with tools you can actually use outside of therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We work together to identify and unravel negative thought patterns that may be holding you back, while fostering more positive, empowering beliefs. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic, Rogerian, and cognitive behavioral modalities based on your unique needs. If you are reflective, open to self-exploration, and looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth while helping you move toward meaningful change, we may be a good fit.
