Getting to know Danielle Taylor

I specialize in relationships, couples counseling, and breakup recovery, and I'm here to help. Are you feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges, especially those related to your relationships? Do you want to work on creating your best life in a supportive, non-judgmental environment? For couples, I help clients deepen their emotional connection, improve communication, and navigate complex issues such as conflict resolution. I work with each individual to identify their unique needs and values and explore how these factors contribute to the overall health of the relationship. If you're struggling with a breakup, I provide a safe and supportive space to process your feelings and develop effective coping strategies. Whether you're dealing with grief, stress, loneliness, or panic, I'm here to help you navigate the complex emotions that come with heartbreak. Being human is really hard, but I believe everyone has the power to create their own world. It takes courage to face life's challenges, but with the right support and tools, it's possible to overcome obstacles, build the life you desire, and improve your relationships. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is nurturing, supportive and very empathetic. I provide a safe space for growth , exploration, expression and deep understanding. I support you at navigating your life at your own pace and hope to gain insight together. I use CBT, DBT, ACT and psychodynamic therapy as my primary methods to learn about you and help you reach your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy begins by making sure that you feel comfortable, learning about your goals and what you would like to gain from therapy. I recognize that it can feel strange to open up to complete stranger, so I focus on creating a meaningful therapeutic connection. Together we will work on listing goals and coming up with strategies to meet them.
