Do you ever find that your need to be logical gets in the way of being emotionally present? Ever find yourself stuck on the outside, watching your experience from afar? You don't need to be taught basic CBT or DBT skills, or told to touch grass, stay off social media, and get more sunlight; you've tried all of that. You don't have to go through this alone. I believe in radical genuineness, where you are safe to be your authentic self and to set boundaries unapologetically, as well as in the value of swearing, memes, and other assorted silliness within the therapy space. My only goal is to work myself out of a job. I use a person-centered, humanistic approach to help you clarify your priorities and goals and make your dreams a reality. I love working with those experiencing relationship challenges, including non-monogamous and non-traditional relationship structures, kink, LGBTQIA+ and immigrant identities, separation/divorce, co-parenting, and all manner of life transitions. Whatever the situation, be it relationship discord, difficulties with self-assertion and boundary management, trouble with feeling unable to manage one's emotional responses, or anything that leaves you feeling like you are not the "you" you want to be, we can work to rediscover the map, shine a light on where to redirect, and get you on the right path.
