Hello, I'm David. I understand and have experienced depression and anxiety, as well as what it's like to be addicted to alcohol and drugs. With 27 years of recovery under my belt, I know firsthand the power of having someone who listens and supports you through tough times. I see individual adults in my practice, and I'm here to walk with you on your journey to a fulfilling life. My practice is person-centered, and I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. These approaches help us work together to identify practical solutions and develop coping strategies that can make a real difference in your daily life. I'm committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and gain the tools you need to live a life full of meaning and purpose. I've been dually licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor for over 15 years. My specializations include addiction, antisocial behavior, anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, intimate/romantic relationships, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, military/veteran support, multicultural/diversity issues, PTSD, sleep disorders, spirituality, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, trauma, anger management, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and LGBTQIA+ support. Whatever challenges you're facing, I'm here to help you navigate them. The value of a life lived fully is priceless, and I'm dedicated to helping you achieve that. I currently offer online sessions only, making it convenient for you to access the support you need from the comfort of your own space. Welcome to a life full of meaning and purpose. I look forward to meeting with you and embarking on this journey together.
