Getting to know David Zhang
I am a licensed mental health counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from New York University. I work collaboratively with my clients to process their thoughts and emotions in therapy. Coming to therapy is a courageous step, and I aim to explore and address different aspects of our lives together. Clients may experience feelings of empowerment at times, or feelings of distress and overwhelm, and I strive to provide an open, comfortable, and safe space for all.
I utilize an integrative approach that includes CBT, Multiculturalism, and Relational-Cultural therapy to create a confidential environment for self-reflection and self-discovery. I have experience working with clients addressing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, lack of routine, loneliness, and more.

I am in network with most Blue Cross Blue Shield (Anthem) plans as well as Magnacare. For other insurances I offer an out of network reduced rate plan to keep costs affordable. With this system your out of pocket costs will be limited to $50-$100 at most per session when working toward your deductible. I will submit all claims on your behalf, keeping the process nice and easy for you!
