I grew up in an Alaskan community that was about 50% Alaskan Native and began to learn the mosaic of culture. My parents were foster parents through which I learned life lessons of the effects of abuse and trauma on development. I lived and worked for several years in California before being ‚ 'able' to move back to the PNW. I look for natural beauty wherever I am and am nurtured and find restoration through connecting with this beauty. I have worked with adults and children, and within mental health, substance abuse, schools and medical settings. I am a Certified Havening Techniques Practitioner, and have certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional and a Clinical Telemental Health Provider. In working with clients I draw from all of these aspects of my training and experience to frame my work with the client based upon their individual needs and goals.
