UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of experience working with families and individuals. I began my journey with a Master's in Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor's degree from Roanoke College. Throughout my career, I have built on my foundational knowledge by continuously incorporating new and exciting theories and techniques. I believe that, at some point in all of our lives, we need someone to listen without judgment and ask the right questions to help us make the changes we want to see. These changes can include coping with depression, anxiety, trauma, and the ongoing effects they have on our present-day lives, along with new struggles that may arise. I use a person-centered approach, blending it with humor and fun to create a supportive and engaging therapeutic environment.
