Getting to know Debra Wurdock

Hello, my name is Deb. I am a clinician with significant experience in assisting individuals in coping with life challenges. My goal is to help you learn problem solving skills and approaches that will teach you how to navigate life's paths. I am graduate of Wayne State University and have been practicing for over twenty five years in both private and community mental health outpatient settings. I worked as a Clinical Supervisor for seven years in a Non-Profit agency. My areas of expertise are treating depression, anxiety and PTSD utilizing Psychoeducation and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also have over ten years providing treatment to individuals with severe mental health challenges such as BiPolar Disoder, Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and traveling. My goal is to visit all of the Great Lakes Lighthouses, my symbol of guidance and hope. I love all animals but especially dogs and own a 140 pound german shepherd named, Fitz. "I look forward to meeting you."
