Hi, I'm Denise. How are you? When was the last time someone asked you that and really wanted to hear the truth? Maybe you said 'fine,' but what you wanted to say wasn't fine at all. Life is hard and messy. I get it, and I want to help. My clients come to me with struggles in many areas of their life, including careers, relationships, and personal challenges with everyday situations. I will listen without judgment and provide support as together we problem-solve and find root causes for the complex challenges in life. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA, I specialize in supporting individuals with Autism spectrum support, Depression, Dissociative Disorders, Family relationships, Grief/Bereavement, Life transitions, PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder), Intimate/Romantic relationships, Stress, Anxiety, ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), and Trauma. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered problem-solving tools, which I use to help those I work with find solutions to the struggles of life. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where you can feel heard and understood. Our sessions will be a space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.
