Hello, I'm Dennis, and I've dedicated many years to working in mental health across a variety of roles. This journey has given me deep insights and perspectives on the difficult issues we all face daily. My passion lies in helping others build on their strengths to find a life filled with purpose and meaning. Throughout my career, I've worked with individuals dealing with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and schizophrenia. My therapeutic philosophy is to meet you where you are, rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis. I believe each person is unique, full of promise, and equipped with many strengths. My goal is to help you harness those strengths effectively, so you can not only cope with your difficulties but truly flourish. When working with trauma, I utilize EMDR, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. I also have extensive experience working with individuals suffering from chronic pain. This can be a particularly challenging issue, but I employ a Cognitive Behavioral approach to help you reclaim your life if pain has taken control. In addition to individual therapy, I've been involved in marital counseling for over a year and a half. I find it incredibly rewarding to assist couples in navigating their struggles and discovering how healthy communication and new ways of thinking can transform their relationships. Anxiety is another area of specialization for me. I use a combination of brain-based strategies and cognitive behavioral techniques to help reduce anxiety and provide you with tools to regulate yourself quickly. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your journey toward a more fulfilling life.
