I am a licensed psychologist with a PsyD in Counseling Psychology from Saint Elizabeth University and over 10 years of experience in the mental health field working with clients of all ages. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, substance use concerns, behavioral issues, emotional dysregulation, sleep issues, parenting concerns, adjustment disorders, social stressors, and more. I believe wellness starts from the inside out, and I tailor treatment to meet your needs.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Working towards improving your mental health can have a positive impact on many different aspects of your functioning. I believe you are the expert of your story and you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming challenges. I seek to empower you with the skills and techniques needed to improve your emotional, behavioral, and social functioning. I work collaboratively with you on identifying and attaining your goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our first session will begin with an intake which helps me get a better understanding of your needs and goals. During the intake, we will work together to create a treatment plan based on those goals. Subsequent sessions will involve implementation of evidence-based practices tailored to meet your needs. Your progress will continuously be monitored to ensure effectiveness. I will also ask for feedback from you throughout treatment.
