MI
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over five years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults through life’s challenges. I’m also a Certified Crisis Intervention Specialist (CCIS-II), with experience supporting individuals through trauma, crisis, and difficult life circumstances. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being your authentic self. My approach is warm, compassionate, and individualized. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic techniques to help clients navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, and other challenges. Whether you’re going through a difficult season or simply ready to understand yourself and your life on a deeper level, you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.

What should a new client know about working with you?

First, you don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You also don’t need to know exactly what you want to talk about. We can figure that out together. I want my clients to feel comfortable being honest and showing up as they are—without judgment. I’m not here to tell you what you should do; I’m here to help you explore what you need, understand yourself more clearly, and develop tools that actually fit your life. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your voice matters. I’ll meet you where you are, respect your pace, and challenge you when appropriate while making sure you feel supported along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what brought you to therapy, and identify what you would like support with. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your history, your strengths, and what you hope to accomplish through therapy. From there, we’ll work together to identify goals and create an approach that fits your individual needs. Some sessions may focus on processing emotions or past experiences, while others may focus on coping skills, problem-solving, relationships, or navigating current situations. I’ll regularly check in about your progress and adjust our approach as needed. My goal is for therapy to be a space where you can gain insight, build confidence, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in your life.
