Hello, I'm Devanand. I am passionate about supporting others in discovering a sense of alignment with their authentic selves. My belief is that when we come to peace with who we are and learn to embody the unique gifts we may offer the world, our mental health can improve and stabilize. This includes the ability to overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Through developing a relationship with ourselves and our bodies, we can find untapped resilience within. I specialize in working with adults and the aging population, and I am here to help you navigate life's transitions and challenges. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, incorporating mindfulness as well as heart-centered intentionality. I hold energy in supporting clients from an attachment and intergenerational lens, and for those interested, I offer guidance in transpersonal psychotherapy as well. My intention in holding space is to explore opportunities to bring healing to the entirety of one's body and mind. This often looks like completing exercises to resource the body in feelings of safety and protection, as well as connecting to energies of resilience. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA, and I specialize in areas such as anxiety, depression, gender identity, life transitions, multicultural/diversity issues, intimate/romantic relationships, spirituality, stress, trauma, military/veteran support, and PTSD.
