Getting to know Devorah Silverman

I've been practicing in NYC for over 20 years. The therapy process allows for a deeper understanding of our wants, roadblocks, and ultimately our path forward. As an integrative practitioner, I work to create a safe, interactive, and warm environment. Whether processing existing traumas, dealing with current stresses at work or home, facing our anxieties, finding better ways to love and communicate in our relationships, or managing our relationship with alcohol, humor and being genuine are important components of our work.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Goals differ, but feeling comfortable in your own skin, making better choices, and creating healthier coping skills are key. We will develop a trusting relationship, uncover the inner echos, and look at what inhibits us from building a satisfying life, with loving relationships, challenging work, appropriate boundaries, and a balanced existence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work both in person and virtually according to the client's preference but usually end with a hybrid model. We will meet, connect and work together to establish therapy goals and sort through what is needed to move forward and thrive. We will understand the barriers and look at the patterns and find new ways to evolve and find joy in your life.
