Hi there, I'm Diane! Dr. Diane Dunne, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist with over 29 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and groups. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from William Lyon University, her master’s from California State University, San Bernardino, and her bachelor’s from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Her passion for serving others and positivity have enabled her to provide care to a diverse population. In addition to being a psychologist, she is a life-credentialed teacher, former school counselor, school principal program developer, spiritual leader, and county administrator. Filled with enthusiasm and compassion, being a psychologist is her true passion because she deeply cares about helping others. My approach Dr. Dunne utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Medical/Indirect Hypnotherapeutic Concepts, Meditation, Mindfulness, Progressive Relaxation, and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches to assist clients in exceeding their personal goals. My focus Dr. Dunne treats individuals undergoing life changes, women’s and men’s issues, work-related challenges, retirement transitions, spiritually focused therapy, career and professional goal development, medical issues and pain management, assistance with becoming parents, adult children, and aging family members. My communication style Dr. Dunne’s patients often say they feel comfortable and safe from the very beginning. Many enjoy her laughter and fun-loving nature as they explore their issues together. My journey to mental healthcare My journey began at age 12 when I realized I cared deeply about others and wanted to help them. After working at a church preschool in high school and later becoming a preschool teacher, credentialed teacher, school counselor, and school principal, I discovered how much I enjoyed helping others in many ways.
