Getting to know Donna Wittrig

I have worked with diverse clientele, specializing in depression, anxiety, stress management, loss, communication skills, life transitions, trauma resolution, and interpersonal relationships. I use a variety of client-centered approaches in a safe, non-judgmental setting to join you on your journey to health. I work with individual adults ages 20 and above. I specialize in CBT and EMDR, drawing from various modalities depending on your needs and specific treatment goals. My goal is to help you resolve challenges and provide you with support and guidance as you begin to move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to offer effective, compassionate care tailored to each individual.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am the owner of Serenity's Journey. I have been working with individuals, including adults of all ages and adolescents from ages 16 and above in a behavioral health setting for more than 10 years. Prior to that, i worked with children in caregiving and educator roles. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief and loss, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma, low self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, and general dissatisfaction in life. I take an eclectic approach, and I meet clients where they are. As a therapist, I strive to support each client with the highest level of compassion, guidance, active listening, validation and level of ethics and integrity. I'll do this by using my years of experience working in behavioral health, clinical mental health, and education. I'll also apply what I learned from being a mother. I'm dedicated to providing people with a safe and non-judgmental space that will be the catalyst to begin connection, healing, and growth. I'll join my clients on their journey, and I'll be their companion as they walk towards their counseling goals.
