Getting to know Ebony Fenwick
Welcome! My venture into mental health started in 2012 and I've had the honor of serving in varied environments like psychiatric wards, substance abuse treatment centers, women’s recovery homes, private practice, and more. This broad experience has offered me a deep understanding of a wide array of mental health issues, from depression and anxiety to relationship problems and substance misuse.
In therapy, I relate to my clients with empathy, humor, compassion, and proven therapeutic approaches. Through tears and joy, we examine your pain points and seek ways to heal. I'm primarily inclined towards Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and proficient in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family System (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, and others. I am certified in various interventions and regularly keep myself updated with the latest therapeutic techniques and research.
Together, we'll work on spotting your blind spots and finding strategies to maneuver life's highs and lows. Whether your struggle stems from your mental health, trauma, substance use, or relationships, I'm here to lend a helping hand. Through psychoeducation, I encourage you to become your best self-caregiver and supporter.
