Psychotherapist

Hi, I'm Eddie! As your therapist, it is my goal to see you become a better version of yourself. It is my belief that life's experiences teach things about the world that may no longer be the most helpful or true today; even if they were true at the time in our past. When we don't adapt and remain flexible, we find ourselves in a web of mistaken beliefs, thinking errors and unresolved life problems. As a result, it becomes too hard to find our way and manage life's challenges in the here-and-now. I love to be present when my clients find a new way and authentically experience change. I've worked with clients from many walks of life and with varied needs. My areas of expertise are in Behavior Modification, Depression, Overthinking, Anxiety, Psychosis, Risk Assessment, Trauma, PTSD, Relationship Stress, and Life Transitions. I use a holistic approach with several research-based interventions including CBT, ACT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I like to use reflections, challenging questions, and a direct approach because I think in counseling we should get to the point, and we should have fun doing it. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Southern New Hampshire University in 2020. Then I obtained a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Southern New Hampshire University in 2023. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have been practicing counseling for 6 years and have worked in several different settings including outpatient therapy, crisis, residential, and private practice. Together, we will develop a comprehensive plan so that you can get the tools you need to help you reach your goals. It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help and for that I appreciate you. Please contact me to see if we're a good fit.
