“I'm no longer walking in the fog of unhappiness and confusion as to why 'things never go my way'. Ed is the person who shepherded and helped me to bring my life from stuck and unwell to fully being in my life with enjoyment and clarity. Ed helped me discover in which ways I was doing myself a disservice with old familiar patterns, and towards the life that I am now so grateful for. Ed helped me get to a place of self awareness and clear thinking. Ed is a skilled, warm professional I will always revere for his role in making my life what it is today.”

“I think Edward is a skilled clinician who really takes time to listen to you and assess what is at the core of what you are saying. He is particularly good at reframing things so that you can figure out your own answers and come to a conclusion that feels right for you. I would highly recommend him and his services. ”

seeing Ed helped me improve my quality of life and satisfaction at work.
I'm no longer walking in the fog of unhappiness and confusion as to why 'things never go my way'. I think Edward is a skilled clinician who really takes time to listen to you and assess what is at the core of what you are saying. He is particularly good at reframing things so that you can figure out your own answers and come to a conclusion that feels right for you. I would highly recommend him and his services.
I have been working with Ed for over two years and every visit with him has changed me for the better. I look forward to our weekly visits and learning new ways to cope with some of life’s biggest challenges. He truly has a gift for what he does.
I have worked with Ed since 2014. Throughtout this time, I have made incredible strides in relation to my mental health and emotional well-being. Ed’s patience, humor, faith, empathy, and gentle but firm challenging have been instrumental in me improving my self-esteem and how I relate to the world. I highly recommend. Do note that, like any relationship, it takes honest reflection and open communication to be fruitful. If you are willing, Ed will meet you in building trust and a safe space to grow.
As a group therapy faciliator Edward Elder is extremely supportive, insightful and attuned to the feelings of each group member. I would highly recommend him as a facilitator and therapist.
In my experience Ed is a very gifted psychotherapist and group facilitator. I attended a group of his for a number of years, and was consistently impressed by his skill in facilitating meaningful connection and his grounding presence. Highly recommend him for individual and group work.
I (older female) and my husband (same age as me male) have seen Ed Elder for couples therapy more or less weekly, with some breaks, over the last 15+ years, both in person and remotely. Ed has been enormously helpful. He is so intelligent and compassionate, and so sensitive to the details of our interactions. Sometimes he'll focus on my husband, sometimes on me, and always with a view to improving our understanding of each other, of how we affect each other, and how we can achieve the good feelings that we each want to experience as much as possible in our now 26-year relationship. Ed knows how to "use" even ostensibly minor squabbles to help us interact more effectively, lovingly, and contentedly. It's been working! And the more we peel the onion, the more we learn, and the better we feel in our marriage. I feel extremely fortunate to have Ed Elder's insightful, professional help, and I can't recommend him highly enough.
Mr. Elder is very professional and compassionate. He looks thoroughly into the issues being explored. I give my highest recommendation.
I have been a client of Ed Elder's over nearly 20 years at different times. He is a remarkable, empathic and humanist practitioner. Be a better friend to yourself and book time with him.
