What should a new client know about working with you?

I want you to know that this is a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. I work with both adults and adolescents, so I'm used to meeting people where they are and adapting to different needs, ages, and communication styles. My approach is warm and collaborative, and I see therapy as a partnership. We'll work together at a pace that feels right for you. No matter what you're bringing in, whether it's something you've carried for years or something more recent, you don't have to navigate it alone.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We start with an initial session focused on getting to know you, your history, what's bringing you in, and what you're hoping to achieve. From there we'll set goals together and I'll begin tailoring my approach to fit your needs. I draw from a range of modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, and Mindfulness, choosing what works best for you rather than following a one-size-fits-all framework. As we move forward, we'll regularly check in on your progress and adjust along the way so the work stays focused on what matters most to you.
