“I love Eleanor. For me, she strikes a great balance between pushing me to do things I need pushing to do and handling my emotions with gentleness. I feel very comfortable with her and she makes it easy for me to express my genuine thoughts and emotions so I can work through what I need to. She was also able to introduce me to IFS therapy, which has been a perfect framing device to help me understand myself. Eleanor is great!”

Getting to know Eleanor Woollard

UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. Therapy is an emotionally corrective experience where your internal and external goals are established through collaborative discussions to determine the approach that best appeals to you. Goals can be single or multiple, and ongoing analysis of the effectiveness of the therapeutic relationship remains a continuous focus. Seeking therapy takes great courage, and the therapeutic environment should feel safe and comforting amid your life challenges. Most important is feeling that you are a "match" with your therapist, a topic that should be openly discussed in the first session. Continuing evaluation of the therapeutic process’s effectiveness should occur throughout the course of treatment to ensure your needs are being met. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Washington, as well as Master’s degrees in Counseling and Psychology from the University of West Georgia, which inform my approach to providing compassionate and effective care.
