Getting to know Elizabeth Boylan

Hi, I’m Elizabeth, an experiential psychotherapist. I work with clients to treat traumatic experiences and co-occurring substance use, depression, and anxiety. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Brainspotting.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We all grow and learn in our own ways. Through tailored psychoeducation and therapeutic modalities, I provide pathways for clients to feel empowered, safe in their bodies, and to be their most authentic selves. Finding a great therapeutic connection is extremely important in order to foster change and growth. I create a safe, non-judgmental space to allow for an authentic relationship to form between us. I believe in the body’s innate ability to move towards healing and learn to experience emotions within your window of tolerance. While life is full of ups and downs, therapy supports finding glimmers and ways to shake off triggers in order to feel comfortable in your body and life. Past traumatic life experiences lead to a loss of self and values. I hope to support you in healing the internal wounds that lead to this loss of identity.
