“What I think about every visit; she is patient, kind, respectful and understanding. She listens. She'll let you take your time but will not let you get lazy about your partisipation in your well-being either. At times it is hard, but she's incouraging. At times it's been fun.”

Getting to know Elizabeth Cobb

What changes would you like in your life? Do you know what’s holding you back? I’m an LCSW and founder of Cobb Psychotherapy. I work with young adults who are struggling with life transitions, seeking to discover their purpose, or finding themselves in a difficult spot. Often, my clients are dealing with depression and anxiety related to difficulty making decisions. Many are stuck in an unsatisfying job or are feeling confused and uncertain about the next step in their life. Modality & Approach I explore the underlying barriers to accomplishing your goals and reaching the expectations you desire in your life. I help you face your fears by using a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and EMDR. With CBT techniques, we can understand and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs about yourself and the world. Through EMDR, we will work through and integrate important memories from your past to help you succeed in the present and future. I am a very engaging and interactive therapist. Together, we will work as a team, and I will ensure you feel comfortable and open throughout our sessions. What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being? I love animals and nature, so I go horseback riding as often as possible.
