Hello, I'm Libby Collins, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with an Masters Degree in Counseling. I am originally from Minnesota and attended University of Wisconsin-Madison for my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Social Welfare. I'm dedicated to helping you achieve your therapeutic goals through a positive and collaborative approach. I believe in actively problem-solving with you to find workable solutions to your current concerns, whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, or navigating life transitions such as grief, divorce, or other family stressors. My goal is to help you cement changes in thinking, feeling, and behaving that will lead to lasting improvements in your life. I have extensive experience working with couples, individuals, and families. Over the years, I've supported clients in improving their relationships by identifying and addressing impediments to communication, intimacy, and other related issues. Recently, I've expanded my services to include support for those on their cancer journey, providing care not only to my clients but also to their families or caregivers as they navigate diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. In addition to my practical experience, I am certified through the SonderMind Baseline Veteran Education Program, which helps me better understand and support the unique needs of veterans. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions, making therapy accessible and convenient for you. When we work together, you can expect a warm, supportive environment where your concerns are heard and addressed with empathy and expertise. I enjoy helping clients manage stress, anger, and intimacy issues, and I'm here to support you through any medical or physical health challenges you may face. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about my counseling style, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to the possibility of working together and supporting you on your journey.
