Getting to know Elizabeth Digiacomantonio

All people seeking therapy should be met with compassion and empathy in a safe and non-judgmental space. I take a strengths-based, collaborative approach to therapy to help those coping with life's challenges increase their wellbeing and meet their goals. I work with clients of all ages who are struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, alcohol and/or substance use disorders, ADHD, trauma, identity, relationship problems, and life transitions. I hold a Master's in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute, a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University, and an Associate's degree from The New School, which inform my holistic and creative approach to therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a person-centered, relational therapist utilizing multiple techniques, from dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and internal family systems. I am also a trained art therapist, for those who are interested in exploring creative expression in the therapeutic space, I bring the additional tools of art, play, and mindfulness.
