Hello, I'm Liz. Utilizing behavioral therapy modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), I believe we can reframe situations to change how they affect our moods, behaviors, and outlook on life. My typical session includes time to vent, process, and challenge, as well as time to educate by providing insight and tools for managing our many emotions. After many years in corporate America, I decided to completely change my direction in life by earning my Master's in Counseling. As a mother of two very active boys, I found that life was passing me by, and I lost a little bit of myself as I was only known as 'Mom.' This personal journey has given me a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges many face in balancing various aspects of life. As someone who has always found counseling to be cathartic, I am excited and happy to share my space with you and help you find your direction. Whether you're dealing with addiction, anger management, anxiety, depression, family relationships, intimate/romantic relationships, life transitions, spirituality, or stress, I am here to support you. I offer SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions to ensure that you can access care in a way that fits your lifestyle. Let's work together to navigate the complexities of life and uncover a path that feels right for you. I look forward to meeting you and embarking on this journey together.
