Hello, I'm Emily. Everyone deserves the opportunity to feel heard, understood, and supported in order to make the changes they want in their lives. Everyone deserves to be living the life they want. I provide my clients with a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools necessary to get to the life they envision and want. My goal as a therapist is to help all clients see that they are strong, resilient, and can achieve their goals in order to start living the life they want and deserve. I look forward to working with you during your journey. As a client-centered, solution-focused therapist, I create an environment of hope and empowerment for my clients. I believe that these things, as well as meaningful connection, are the building blocks of a positive experience during therapy as well as the ability to have positive progress toward the goals each client identifies. Although therapy can sometimes be a difficult process to start, I work diligently to ensure the process is as easy and as stress-free as possible! My goal is to provide prospective and new clients with the best therapy experience possible from the start. Therapy should be a positive experience and I work hard to ensure my clients have that positive experience. I hold a Master's degree (MA) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My areas of specialization include addiction, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, intimate/romantic relationships, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, OCD, phobias, psychosis/schizophrenia, sex/intimacy issues, stress, antisocial behavior, ADHD, dissociative disorders, and multicultural/diversity issues. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer or require remote sessions. I am here to support you and help you navigate through your challenges.
