Getting to know Emily Stone

I'm Emily Stone, I'm a mother of two (10 and 8). We also have a cat, Izzy and dog, Shelby that at times like to make appearances during my sessions. I have been in the human service field since undergrad and felt a calling for counseling after experiencing family suffering with depression, anxiety, and suicidality. During their treatment they made connections with certain therapists that were turning points in their mental health and quality of life. Outside of counseling I enjoy DIY projects around my home, and creating a space for myself and children we are all proud of. I like look at things not for what they are, but what they could be. We like hiking, kayaking, camping, the beach, and spending time with family and friends that feel like family.
