I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from the College of Notre Dame in 1975 and my Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Chemical Dependence in 1990. I have extensive experience in the behavioral health field, including working with dually diagnosed adolescents and managing outpatient programs. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington. I use a variety of techniques and activities, such as journaling, guided imagery, and stress reduction exercises, to help clients.
