UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy.
I work with my clients to look at issues from different perspectives, and hopefully this alleviates pain and suffering by adopting a more balanced view. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Washington University, St. Louis, as well as a Master's in Social Work from the University of Gothenburg. Additionally, I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Nairobi.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Congratulations! You have taken the first step towards your wellness journey. I am a licensed clinical social worker and therapist serving clients in District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients and create a supporting environment to work on whatever issues of concerns. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients address depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, mood, relationship and transition issues

I see patients through UpLift. When you create your profile, you will input your insurance information and the team will reach out with your copay amount. If you do not have insurance, I also take cash pay clients. The UpLift team will work directly with you to inform you of payments due. The prices for visits are dependent on your co-pay amount through your insurance. If you are a cash-pay client, our price ranges from $75 to $145 per visit
