Getting to know Eric Tedstrom

Hi, I'm Eric. I've been working in various mental health settings since the late 1980s, bringing decades of experience to my practice. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, graduating cum laude with majors in Psychology and Philosophy. I then pursued my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver, with a special focus on Children, Youth, and Family. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with clients facing a range of challenges, including ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Depression, issues related to divorce, and self-esteem. I primarily work with children and teens of all genders, as well as adult men. My goal is to help you understand your thoughts and feelings, and then make meaningful behavioral changes to improve your situation. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. I love it when clients take initiative with their own therapy, exploring issues through journaling, drawing, art, creative writing, and other methods. When appropriate and invited, I also enjoy helping clients make connections between their situation and their faith, and grow in their relationship with God.
