Hello! I’m Erica Schwartz, a strengths-based therapist dedicated to helping you navigate life’s challenges with a balanced and practical approach. I earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Arizona (Bear Down!). I then went on to obtain a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em Horns!), specializing in work with children and families. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Arizona, California, and Virginia. My diverse experience spans various settings, from providing in-home support to hospice patients and their families, to counseling bereaved parents and siblings. I’ve also worked in community health environments, offering guidance and support to parents and their families. For the past three years, I have effectively delivered virtual therapy to adults dealing with depression, anxiety, caregiving responsibilities, and grief, employing a combination of CBT, strengths-based, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
