Psychotherapist

Hello, I'm Erin. It can be difficult to see different paths to self-discovery and change, especially when struggling in the aftermath of a difficult transition, disappointment or loss, traumatic event, or unhealthy or confusing relationship. My passion for learning about people and the world is applied to each individual I work with. Through a collaborative process of discovery, I aim to understand every client’s unique experiences that have shaped who they are. I have been working with youth, teens, young adults, and their families since 2017. I work from a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) framework and employ mindfulness practices that always accompany psychoeducation so people feel informed about their own body and brain responses. I received my professional counselor license in January of 2021 and obtained my addictions counseling license in March 2022. I primarily aim to help people break from patterns of behavior and thought that no longer help them succeed and grow, which often entails processing a difficult event, relationship, or time in their life. Throughout my years of practice, I have learned that a healthy diet, regular exercise, and escape to nature, art, or music can be essential to maintaining a healthy and strong mind that gives less power to symptoms of mental illness. However, I believe curiosity is the spark for change. I hope to foster it with each person I work with. If you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and change, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let's work together to understand your unique experiences and foster the curiosity that can lead to meaningful growth and healing.
