What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist started with my own mental health journey. Everything I preach, I practice, and would never ask a patient to do anything I would not do myself. Through this approach combined with compassionate and culturally responsive care, I hope to normalize therapy in Black and brown communities.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with talk therapy and play therapy, all in service of helping you build the tools to live a healthy and happy life. Real-life experience helps me connect with you, creating a space that feels comfortable and familiar. Every patient is unique, and I allow you the space to dissect those experiences.
