Hello, I'm Evelyn. Life these days can be difficult to navigate, especially when we consider all that we need to place our focus on. Relationships, child-rearing, finances, job stress, and life transitions can cause a huge amount of distress and at times may seem overwhelming when we don't have the skills necessary to navigate through them, but there is hope! Together we can learn how to identify your challenges and manage them effectively. I graduated from Youngstown State University in 2013 with a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Mental Health and Addictions counseling. I'm currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervisor designation (LPCC-S). I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, stress, life transitions, as well as substance use disorders. My practice focuses primarily on working with adults, using Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapies to help my clients navigate through their concerns. We will work together to determine what approach works best for your unique concerns. I approach every client with empathy and will do everything I can to make sure that you feel heard in order to develop a therapeutic relationship based on trust and genuineness. In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time outdoors, which helps me stay grounded and rejuvenated. I believe that a balanced life is key to mental well-being, and I strive to bring that balance into our sessions.
